Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Manuscript preparation:

Before all of you submit the manuscript, please read carefully and following the information:

  1. The manuscript was the result of your own works (original – not plagiarism) and never been published in another journal;
  2. The article written in Indonesian and English. The abstract should be written in English and Indonesian (if manuscript in Indonesian);
  3. Manuscript file must be digital. We suggest for use software Microsoft Office (2010 or above) with extension document (.rtf, .doc, or .docx), and;
  4. Document format style:

Manuscript type on A4 Margin Top: 3 cm, Bottom: 3 cm, Left: 2.5 cm, Right: 2.5 cm, header 1.27 cm and footer 1.27 cm with different odd and event ; for body text use one column; written with font style Garamond; single line spacing; and black color font. The structure of manuscripts:

1. Title
The title should briefly and clearly describe the content of the paper (Center, Bold, 20pt)

3. Abstract
The abstract should be written in English and Indonesian (if manuscript in Indonesian). Abstract should be minimum 150 words and maximum 250 words. Abstract should at least consist of short background of the research, research purposes, method of research, result and findings, and conclusion. Abstract should be stand alone, meaning that there is should not citation on the abstract. (13pt)

Keywords: consists of 3-5 related keywords, separated by commas (,). (13pt)

4. Introduction
Introduction should be clear and provide the issue(s) discussed in the manuscript. Before the objective, author(s) should provide an adequate background, and very short literature survey in order to record existing solutions, to show in which is the best of previous researchers, to show what do you hope to achieve (to show the limitation), and to show the scientific merit or novelties of the manuscript. At the end, the author(s) should explain the urgency and clearly state aims of your study and mention problem of the research in this section. (13pt)

5. Methods
The method is written in descriptive and should provide a statement regarding the method of the research. The author should explain the mechanism to analyze the legal issue. This method as much as possible to give an idea to the reader through the method used, this method is optional, only for an original research article. (13pt)

6. Results & Discussion
Results should be clear and concise. Discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work. Sub-result and discussion contain the results of the analysis and discussion of the objective of the study. (13pt)

3.1   A Subsection Sample (16pt)
Please note that the first paragraph and subsequent paragraphs of a section or subsection are indented (1 cm). The first paragraph following the tables, figures, equations, etc. Also has indents.
Subsequent paragraphs are indented. (13pt)

Sample Heading (Third Level). Only two levels of headings should be numbered. Lower level headings remain un-numbered (run-in headings). The following Table 1 gives a summary of all heading levels. (13pt)

Number the sentences sequentially according to their appearance in the text. Place a footnote at the bottom of the text and indicate them with superscript lowercase letters (number).

Example:
“Dalam penyusunan Prolegnas harus dimuat judul RUU, materi yang diatur dan keterkaitannya dengan peraturan perundang-undangan lain yang merupakan keterangan mengenai RUU peraturan1.” (13pt)

7. Conclusion
Conclusion should clear, concise and answer the issue(s). The conclusion section should lead the reader to important matter of the manuscript. Furthermore, provide a clear scientific justification.

8. Acknowledgment
This is used to appreciate the efforts of associate, who are not registered as co-author(s), for their assistance and fund for author(s) research/publication. [OPTIONAL].

9. References
References should follow the style detailed in the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition (APA 7th) Publication Manual. Make sure that all references mentioned in the text are listed in the reference section and vice versa and that the spelling of author names and years are consistent.

Tips: (Please cross check for)

  1. Spelling of author names;
  2. Punctuation;
  3. Number of authors to include before using “etc.”, and;
  4. Reference style
