About the Journal

Ecotrends Journal is a UNS Postgraduate School Environmental Science journal that facilitates collaboration between researchers, lecturers and students from various scientific disciplines related to the environment. This will help create a broad network that supports the exchange of ideas and cross-disciplines, as well as encourage more holistic interdisciplinary research in understanding and overcoming environmental problems.

The UNS Postgraduate School can teach high-quality scientific journals. The journal will undergo a rigorous selection and peer-review process to ensure that only high-quality research is published. This will make a more significant contribution to developing understanding of environmental issues. Through the establishment of an environmental science journal, UNS hopes to become a driving force for better research and development of environmental science. It is hoped that this journal can encourage in-depth discussions and innovative solutions and become a medium for encouraging student admissions to Master's and Doctoral Environmental Science study programs.

The scope of the Eco Trend journal includes four things, namely:
A. Climate and environment
Global climate change and mitigation, environmental education and sociology, environmental management and protection, environmental policy framework, food-energy-water security (a little), sustainable land use and natural resource management.
B. Biodiversity and conservation
Ecosystem conservation and restoration, protection and management of endangered species and habitats, sustainable forestry and fisheries practices, ecosystem services and assessment, indigenous knowledge and community-based conservation approaches.
C. Sustainable development approach
Sustainable finance and banking, sustainable tourism, sustainable urban planning and smart cities, energy efficiency, sustainable transport and mobility solutions, circular economy models and resource efficiency, social justice, inclusivity, and environmental justice.
D. Waste management and environmental engineering
Waste reduction, pollution control, waste-to-energy technology, hazardous waste management and remediation, sustainable wastewater treatment and water resources management, environmental impact assessment and life cycle analysis, sustainable materials and green engineering practices, renewable energy technologies
