As a medium for conveying messages, a song combines musical and literary art in its lyrics. The song "Al-Chubbu Yasûd," popularized by Maher Zain, narrates the struggle of the Syrian people through various lyrical expressions. This research focuses on the textual analysis of the song's lyrics using Robert Craig's communication theory approach. The qualitative descriptive method involves describing the denotative meaning of expressions that appear in the lyrics and then interpreting the connotative meanings contained within them. The research results indicate that the song "Al-Chubbu Yasûd" conveys the message of the Syrian people's struggle through various denotative words that support the atmosphere created by the song, such as words like fear, injustice, and loss. Connotatively, the expressions used in the song's lyrics speak about love for the homeland, defense of territory, Islamic values, and humanitarian values.
