Ukuran Defek dan Panjang Total Septum Atrium dalam Pengambilan Keputusan Ukuran Device ASD Closure di RSUD Dr. Moewardi Tahun 2021–2023

Pendahuluan: Defek septum atrium/Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) adalah kondisi yang menyebabkan adanya pertemuan antara dua atrium yang membuat darah mengalir dari atrium kiri ke atrium kanan (left-to-right shunt). Tindakan penutupan ASD yang saat ini menjadi lini pertama adalah prosedur penutupan ASD perkutan dengan transkateter dan penentuan ukuran device yang akan digunakan harus tepat karena menjadi kunci keberhasilan dari prosedur ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan ukuran defek dan panjang total septum atrium dalam pengambilan keputusan ukuran device yang akan digunakan dalam prosedur ASD closure.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitik observasional dengan desain penelitian lintas bagian retrospektif. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 59 individu yang diambil dengan metode total sampling. Penelitian ini mengambil data primer dari rekam medis pasien dan diolah dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS. Uji korelasi yang digunakan adalah Uji korelasi Pearson dan Spearman’s Rho, lalu hasil akan disajikan dalam bentuk deskriptif.
Hasil: Penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa ukuran defek dan panjang total septum atrium dalam pengambilan keputusan ukuran device ASD closure memiliki korelasi yang kuat, linear, positif, dan signifikan di mana semakin besar ukuran defek dan panjang total septum atrium maka semakin besar juga ukuran device yang dipilih.
Kesimpulan: Ukuran defek dan panjang total septum atrium sudah konsisten dan sesuai dalam pengambilan keputusan ukuran device ASD closure.
