Focus and Scope

Media Riset Manajemen (MRM) is a publication platform for research articles and review articles in the field of management. The themes in MRM cover the branches of management and business sciences, including (but not limited to) the following topics:

  • Human Resource Management
  • Marketing Management
  • Financial Management
  • Operations Management
  • Strategic Management
  • Business and Entrepreneurship

Articles published in MRM can be empirical or conceptual. The determination of articles to be published in MRM follows a blind-peer review process conducted by the editorial board and peer reviewers. During this process, the relevance and contribution of the article to the development of knowledge, managerial practices, and compliance with scientific publication standards will be considered.

Peer Review Process

The peer review process begins after you submit your article to Media Riset Manajemen through OJS. After submission, the article will be sent to the editor for a desk review to ensure that the article’s substance aligns with the journal's aims and scope and meets the criteria for plagiarism-free content. If the manuscript passes the desk review, the evaluation process will continue with independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers are asked to assess the validity, significance, and originality of your work.

The peer review process consists of five (5) main stages, as follows:

  • Author submits the manuscript
  • Editor evaluation (some manuscripts may be rejected or returned before the review process)
  • Blind peer review process
  • Editorial decision
  • Confirmation to the author

Publication Frequency

Media Riset Manajemen publishes two (2) issues per year, in January and July.

Open Access Policy

All articles published by Media Riset Manajemen (MRM) are open access, supporting global knowledge exchange. All MRM articles are published under the CC-BY-SA license, which means:

Each reader has free and unlimited access to the full text of the articles published in MRM, and readers are free to reuse the published articles with proper citation of the original publication.

Archiving

This journal uses the PKP-PN LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, allowing these libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement

Our Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement is based on the COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors. Media Riset Manajemen adheres to the COPE (Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and the Code of Conduct for Journal Publishers).

Policy of Plagiarism Detection

All manuscripts received by the editor will undergo plagiarism checking using Turnitin software with a similarity score threshold of 20%. Manuscripts with a similarity score exceeding the set threshold will be returned to the author.
