Hubungan Tekanan Teman Sebaya pada Kesiapan Belajar Mandiri Mahasiswa Kedokteran di Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta

Pendahuluan: Mahasiswa kedokteran dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan belajar mandiri yang kuat sebagai bagian dari proses pembelajaran profesional yang berkesinambungan. Kesiapan dalam belajar mandiri ini dipengaruhi oleh berbagai aspek sosial, termasuk tekanan dari lingkungan sebaya atau dikenal dengan peer pressure. Tekanan teman sebaya dapat memberikan dampak positif, seperti mendorong semangat untuk mencapai prestasi, maupun dampak negatif apabila menyebabkan stres atau kebiasaan yang tidak produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tekanan dari teman sebaya mahasiswa kedokteran dengan kesiapan mahasiswa kedokteran dalam melakukan pembelajaran secara mandiri.
Metode: Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif analitik. Partisipan terdiri atas mahasiswa program studi kedokteran yang dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran dua kuesioner, yaitu Peer Pressure Inventory untuk mengukur tingkat tekanan dari teman sebaya dan Self Directed Learning Readiness-NE untuk mengukur kesiapan mahasiswa dalam belajar mandiri. Data diambil dalam satu waktu secara cross sectional. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji korelasi menggunakan SPSS untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara kedua variabel
Hasil: Responden berjumlah 138 mahasiswa terpilih secara acak. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada hubungan signifikan antara nilai rerata tekanan teman sebaya dengan kesiapan belajar mandiri pada mahasiswa kedokteran (p=0,001) dengan korelasi positif dan kekuatan hubungan lemah. Hasil uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan nilai korelasi Pearson sebesar 0,269.
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara nilai rerata tekanan teman sebaya dengan kesiapan belajar mandiri pada mahasiswa kedokteran.
