Pemikiran Islam Progresif AR Baswedan Periode 1934-1942

Abstract

This article analyzes AR Baswedan’s thoughts from the perspective of Progressive Islamic thinking during 1934–1945, a pivotal period in Indonesia’s nationalist movement. Using historical research methods, the study finds that AR Baswedan’s background shaped his Progressive Islamic ideas, which significantly influenced Indonesia’s independence struggle. The analysis reveals that his contributions are integral to the development of Progressive Islamic thought and the nationalist movement. Understanding AR Baswedan’s role offers valuable insights into fostering inclusive and harmonious nation-building in Indonesia.
