Jurnal Materi dan Pembelajaran Fisika (JMPF) is an open-access peer-reviewed research journal that is published by Physics Education Department of Universitas Sebelas Maret in collaboration with Physical Society of Indonesia (PSI). This journal has two issues in a year and it will be published in May and November.
JMPF is providing a platform that welcomes and acknowledges high-quality empirical original research papers about education written by researchers, academicians, professionals, and practitioners from all over the world.
JMPF was established in 2011 with an ISSN (print) number 2089-6158. In 2017, this journal obtained an ISSN (online) number, 2620-3944. At the beginning of its publication, JMPF was managed and published through the website: https://jurnal.fkip.uns.ac.id/index.php/fisika
In line with the development of the journal management system at Universitas Sebelas Maret, in 2017, data and publications were transferred to the official UNS journal website, namely: https://jurnal.uns.ac.id/jmpf
Starting in 2026 (Volume 16 Number 1), all processes related to management, archival data migration, and article publication for JMPF will be fully conducted through this website. Therefore, authors, reviewers, and readers are encouraged to access and use this website as the sole official portal for the journal.
Focus and scopes of Jurnal Materi dan Pembelajaran Fisika are (1) physics learning and education, (3) learning technologies, (3) assessment of physics education, and (4) physics.

Starting with Volume 16 Number 1 (2026), JMPF has upgraded its system from OJS2 to OJS3 (this website).
