MoU Partnership Between IDI Surakarta and Magna Neurologica Journal: A New Synergy for Advancing Neurology in Indonesia

Surakarta, October 30, 2024 – In an effort to strengthen contributions to the medical field, particularly in neurology, the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) Surakarta Branch has established a strategic partnership with Magna Neurologica, a scientific journal focused on neurology studies. The signing of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) took place on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, in Surakarta, marking an important step in supporting scientific development and healthcare services in Indonesia.

The event was attended by prominent figures from both parties. The Chairperson of IDI Surakarta Branch, Dr. Muhammad Eko Irawanto, dr., Sp.KK(K), stated that this collaboration aims to combine practical expertise and scientific research to enhance healthcare services in the field of neurology.

The Chief Editor of Magna Neurologica, Prof. Dr. dr. Suroto, Sp.N., Subsp. NIOO(K)., FAAN, expressed his appreciation for this synergy and emphasized that the partnership would open significant opportunities for sharing knowledge and research findings that can be practically applied in the management of neurological cases.

Also present at the event were Dr. dr. Rivan Danuaji, Sp.N., Subsp. NIOO(K)., M.Kes., FAAN, one of the journal’s editors and a member of the Neurology Medical Staff Unit (KSM Neurologi), along with Dr. dr. Pepi Budianto, Sp.N., Subsp. NN(K)., FINR., FINA, Chairperson of PERDOSNI Surakarta Branch. Dr. Ervina Arta Jayanti Hutabarat, Sp.N., another journal editor, shared her hope that this collaboration would have a positive impact on advancing research and healthcare services. Additionally, Dr. Raden Andi Ario Tedjo, Sp.N., who also serves as an editor, highlighted that this synergy represents an important step in bridging the gap between research needs and practical applications in the field.
