The Effect of Rubik Picture Game Media on the Recognition of Body Parts in Third-Grade Students with Intellectual Disabilities at SLB-C Setyadarma

This study aims to examine the use of Rubik picture game media in improving the understanding of body parts among third-grade students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB-C Setyadarma Surakarta. The study employed an experimental approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of five third-grade students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB-C Setyadarma Surakarta. Data were collected using objective test items in the form of picture-matching tasks. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that the average pretest score was 30. After the treatment, the average posttest score increased to 50. The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test yielded a Z value of -2.060 with a significance level (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.039, which is below the significance threshold of 0.05. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Rubik picture game media effectively enhances the understanding of body parts in third-grade students with mild intellectual disabilities at SLB-C Setyadarma Surakarta.
