IJIE (Indonesian Journal of Informatics Education) is a scientific journal promoting the study of, and interest in, informatics education. The journal publishes empirical papers on information systems, informatics, technology learning, and distance learning. It is an international journal published by the Informatics Education Department, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia bi-annually on June and December (ISSN: 2549-0389 (Online)).

Important Note:

Starting from Volume 10, Issue 1 (July 2026), IJIE has upgraded its system from OJS2 to OJS3 (this website). Please note that old accounts on the OJS 2 system are different and cannot be used in the new OJS 3 system. For submission purposes, authors are required to create a new account on the new website. The archives of previous publications using OJS2 (up to Volume 9, Issue 2, 2025) can be accessed through the old website: https://jurnal.uns.ac.id/ijie/.

Call for Papers

The Indonesian Journal of Informatics Education (IJIE) invites submissions for upcoming issues. Submissions are accepted throughout the year and are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. IJIE is an open-access journal with no article processing charges (no-APC) and welcomes high-quality research in informatics and informatics education. Submissions are strongly encouraged from authors outside Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS). Please note that articles published in IJIE cannot be used for academic promotion within UNS.
