IDEOLOGI PENDIDIKAN TAN MALAKA: REKONSTRUKSI KONSEP MADILOG

Abstrak

As a figure who has several intellectual works, Tan Malaka is known by his extraordinary idea. Madilog stands for materialism, dialectic and logic is this masterpiece. This article tries to reveal Tan Malaka's educational ideology basis through MADILOG concept reconstruction. This study applies figure study method with literature study shaped design from MADILOG and other literacy sources. Based on these results, it was found some ideas Tan Malaka as part of an educational ideology that was followed. Those ideas as follow: (1) the need to the mathematics and natural sciences teaching to separate mystical thought, (2) that is Indonesian education must be built and rooted from its cultural basis (3) students need to create mnemonics (ezelbruggeetje) device and to neglect memorizing habit, (4) then need to open more vocational schools, (5) the schools need to accomodate more playing time for children, and (6) the need to formulize teacher competence (pedagogy, professional, social, personality, steadfastness and sincerity).
