Plagiarism and Originality Policy
M-POWER: Scientific Journal of Development Extension and Community Development Management is firmly committed to upholding academic integrity and ensuring the originality of all published content. Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors must ensure that their work is free from any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, improper paraphrasing, or uncredited use of another’s work.
To verify originality, all submitted manuscripts are checked using Turnitin plagiarism detection software. The maximum allowable overall similarity index is 20%, and no single source may exceed 2% similarity. Manuscripts exceeding these thresholds will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected outright, depending on the severity of the duplication.
Authors are responsible for properly citing all sources and obtaining necessary permissions for the use of third-party content. If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article may be retracted, and further actions may be taken in accordance with the journal’s ethical guidelines.
By submitting to M-POWER, authors affirm that their work is original and complies with the journal’s ethical and publication standards.
