Foreign investment in European football has brought significant changes to European football clubs and competitions. This phenomenon has brought about major changes in the financial and competitive dynamics in European football, but it has also brought about various controversies and challenges. On the one hand, large investments allow clubs to compete at the highest level by bringing in star players and improving infrastructure. On the other hand, there are concerns about the long-term impact of these foreign investments on the financial sustainability of European football clubs. Therefore, the main issue that needs to be further understood is how UEFA as the governing body of European football seeks to safeguard the European football ecosystem from the influence of foreign investors. To analyse the case, the concepts used in this research are the concepts of international regime and sports diplomacy. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive model to explain in detail the social phenomenon being studied based on the data and examples of cases found. The conclusion obtained from this research is that UEFA's efforts in maintaining the European football ecosystem from the influence of foreign investors is by implementing the Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulation. Financial Fair Play is an important policy implemented by UEFA to face the great challenge of regulating the flow of capital into European football. This policy aims to ensure that clubs do not spend more than they earn so as to maintain the club's financial health in the long run.
