SPEAR: Studies in Physics Education and Applied Research is committed to open access and the global exchange of knowledge. Therefore, all articles published in this journal are governed by the following copyright terms:
- Ownership and Licensing: As the author, you retain full copyright over your original work. By submitting and having your article published in SPEAR, you grant the journal the right to be the first publisher of your work. Simultaneously, the article will be distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
- Rights Granted to Users: Under the CC BY 4.0 license, anyone is permitted to download, reuse, reprint, modify, distribute, and/or copy the content of the articles, as long as the original authors and the source (SPEAR) are properly cited. No permission is required from the authors or the publisher for such uses, provided proper attribution is given.
- Author's Freedom: Authors are free to disseminate their work after publication. This includes depositing the published PDF in institutional repositories, incorporating it into books, or posting it on personal websites. In any such case, proper acknowledgment of its initial publication in SPEAR must be included.
- Pre-print and Post-print Policy: SPEAR encourages authors to share their work openly throughout the research process. Authors may post their manuscripts (both before and after peer review) on preprint servers, institutional repositories, or personal websites to foster academic dialogue and increase the visibility and impact of their research.
