Current Issue
Volume 1, Number 1 (March 2026) of The Journal of Gender and Population Studies presents a collection of interdisciplinary studies examining contemporary gender issues across social, cultural, and media contexts. The articles in this issue explore topics such as online gender-based violence literacy among high school students, patriarchal control and women’s body politics in media discourse, intersectionality in fashion brand representation, posthuman perspectives on gender dysphoria, and the construction of transgender identity in film narratives. Through diverse theoretical and methodological approaches, this issue contributes to broader discussions on gender dynamics, representation, identity, and social change.
