PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA KOMIK DIGITAL TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR PPKN SISWA PADA KOMPETENSI DASAR MENDESKRIPSIKAN KASUS PELANGGARAN DAN UPAYA PENEGAKAN HAM

Abstrak

The objective of research was to find out the effect of using digital comics media on student interest in learning civic education of basic competency describe violation cases and enforcement efforts of human rights. The method in this research was experimental 
research which used true experimental design with posttest only control design model. The population of research was the 7th Graders of SMP Negeri 7 Surakarta consisted of 254 students. The sampling technique used was cluster sampling area (area sampling). The sample of research consisted of 7th A students in experiment and 7th B students in control groups. The instrument used for collecting data were documentation, observation, and questionnaire. Prerequisite test used is the normality and homogeneity test. Technique of analyzing data used was quantitative data with t-test analysis. The result of the research, the mean result of the questionnaires about students interest in civic lesson for the experiment class was 79,80 and the control class was 74,84. It shows that the mean of experiment class was higher than the mean of control class. The result of hypothesis test with t-test analysis and 5% significance was t_statistic > t_table or 2,074 > 1,999 so that H_o refused and H_a accepted. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that in this study there was an effect of  digital comics media on student interest in learning civic education of basic competency describe violation cases and enforcement efforts of human rights.
