Preprint Policy

Plantae Protecta accepts manuscripts that have previously been posted on recognised preprint servers (e.g. bioRxiv, ESSOAr, OSF Preprints, arXiv). Authors must disclose the preprint server, title and DOI at the time of submission.

Posting a preprint does not constitute prior publication and is not a barrier to publication in Plantae Protecta. Upon acceptance, authors are encouraged to update the preprint record with the journal DOI and a link to the published version.
