About the Journal

Plantae Protecta is an open-access, peer-reviewed international journal published by Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Surakarta, Indonesia. The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, short communications and case studies in plant protection science, including plant pathology, entomology, weed science, biopesticides and integrated pest management (IPM).

Plantae Protecta is published twice a year, in June and December. All articles are freely available in full text immediately upon publication under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) licence, with no subscription fees, embargo period or author charges. The journal is committed to rigorous double-blind peer review, adherence to COPE publication ethics, and the rapid dissemination of research that supports sustainable and productive agriculture worldwide.
