Journal of Informatics and Vocational Education is a peer-reviewed journal that serves as a platform for disseminating original research and recent developments in informatics and applied computer science education, fostering scholarly dialogue among researchers, educators, students, and practitioners at both national and international levels.
The July 2025 issue (Vol. 8 No. 2) presents a focused collection of studies highlighting key factors influencing student readiness and learning effectiveness in informatics and vocational education. This issue features research on the role of self-efficacy and independent learning in shaping students’ work readiness, as well as studies examining internal and external determinants of learning motivation in secondary education. In addition, innovative pedagogical approaches are explored through collaborative learning strategies, including crossword puzzle-based activities that enhance both cognitive engagement and social-emotional skills. The issue also addresses digital transformation in educational systems through the implementation of agile methodologies and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), alongside the development of bilingual digital storytelling to promote character education.
