The documentary film "Senja Kala: Krisis Regenerasi Petani" addresses the issue of the farmer regeneration crisis in Boyolali, a region facing serious challenges in sustaining its agricultural sector. The phenomenon of declining interest among the younger generation to enter farming is caused by several factors. This problem has led to a reduction in the number of productive farmers and an increase in land conversion, threatening regional food security.
This documentary employs a creative concept designed to present a factual reality through an observatory and expository approach. The film blends a humanist narrative with visuals that emphasize farming activities and on-the-ground conditions. It serves as a medium to encourage attention from the government, the public, and policymakers regarding the future of the agricultural sector.
This Final Project report aims to describe the role and responsibilities of the author as a producer in the making of the documentary film "Senja Kala: Krisis Regenerasi Petani."
