Plagiarism and Originality Policy
Indonesian Journal of Educational Community Service (IJECS) upholds strict standards regarding originality and academic integrity. Authors submitting manuscripts must ensure that their work is entirely original and that any content derived from other sources is properly cited.
Key principles include:
-
All submissions must be original and not under consideration or published elsewhere.
-
Proper acknowledgment must be given to the work of others through accurate citations and referencing.
-
Manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin or similar tools) before the review process.
-
The acceptable similarity index is less than 20%, with no individual source exceeding 2%.
-
Plagiarism in any form—including self-plagiarism, paraphrasing without citation, or unauthorized use of others’ work—will result in immediate rejection or retraction.
-
Authors are fully responsible for the content and originality of their work.
By submitting to IJECS, authors agree to comply with this policy and uphold the integrity of academic publication.
